Eaton Colorado is located about 15 miles North of Greeley Colorado. It is a small community enjoying a great quality of small town life.

The population in 2000 census was 2,690 and is now estimated at about 4,000. Eaton is located in Weld County which had a population of over 180,000 in 2000. It is now estimated at near 200,000. Eaton has a history of being a small agricultural center in Northern Colorado. The community is  now a bedroom community of Greeley and is a fast growing dynamic area.  Eaton Colorado has been chosen as a "Top 50 Small US Town"

The climate is very mild and considered a near desert but it's hard to tell with all the trees along the river banks and planted downtown.
