Evans Colorado is located about 50 miles North of Denver Colorado. It is often confused with Greeley because it is right on the southern border of Greeley. Without signs it is hard to tell which city you are in. Evans is a well established community and enjoys a high quality of life. The citizens have access to there own recreational facilities, and good medical services, plus they can enjoy Greeley's too.. |

The population in 2000 census was 9,514 and is now estimated at about 15,000. Evans is located in Weld County which had a population of over 180,000 in 2000. It is now estimated that there are near 205,000. Evans is a fast growing dynamic area. |
| The climate is very mild and considered a near desert but it's hard to tell with all the trees along the river banks and planted downtown. |
