Since all three of the area
cities of Fort Collins and Loveland the events are really area
events. The events that are centered in Greeley Colorado are also
well attended by the folks in the surrounding towns and cities.
Greeley's major event is the
Greeley Stampede the largest rodeo in
America held on the July 4th weekend. This event is held over many
days and has a large fair and agriculture exhibit at the same time.
In the fall held over the Labor Day weekend is
the Thunder in the Rockies.
This motorcycle event actuall takes place in all three cities and is
primarily center in Loveland Colorado at "The Ranch" The Ranch is
the Larimer County fairgrounds complex and the Budweiser Events
Center.
The
Weld County Fair is
Greeley's largest fair and is held in late summer every year in the
last week of July and the first week week in August.
The Budweiser
Center is located just a short 15 to 25 minute drive west of Greeley. The Budweiser Events Center and Larimer County Fairgrounds
which all inclusively is called the "The Ranch"
Close by Greeley just a 30 minute drive is the
Larimer County Fair. This
event is held at "The Ranch" in the i-25 highway 34 Centerra area.
A regional event held in Fort
Collins every year is the Fort Collins Brewers Fest. This ever
popular event which attracts people not only from Greeley and
Loveland but people from a four state area plan to attend every year.
Fort Collins is home to more brewers per capta than any other city
in America. Also in late
summer is the New West Fest held in Fort Collins. This has also
become an area event as well and attracts merchants and crafters to
this Old Town event from all the surrounding cities. |
