Marketplace at Centerra
The Market Place is in the Centerra development in Loveland which is 20 miles west of Greeley Colorado.. Centerra is a 3000 plus acre commercial, residential and office development. This development is in the heart of the Northern Colorado commercial and retail development area. Many times in the national press this area has been named as one of the fastest growing areas in the nation. The development is surrounded by Loveland, Ft Collins and Greeley the three major towns in the Northern Colorado area. This development is in the center of a 750,000 population marketplace. 

Centerra is located in Loveland Colorado at the intersection of Interstate 25 and Highway 34. It is being developed by McWhinney Enterprises which is headquartered in the Centerra Development.

From Greeley go west on highway 34 to I-25 and turn north it is about twelve miles to the brewery.The Anheuser Busch  Brewery is located just off I-25 at the Mountain Vista Dr exit.  The brewery is located on the Northwest corner of the intersection. It is a rather large facility and is easy to see. After entering on the main drive which is Busch Drive just follow the sign to the tour offices.

October 25-26 2008 at The Marketplace at Centerra will have something for everyone with the second annual Halloween Hullabaloo, a family-fun street festival on Saturday, October 25, and the eighth annual Sportsman’s Warehouse Waterfowl Weekend, a two-day event on October 25 and 26 featuring calling competitions for youth and adults.

August 13, 2006 Bed Bath & Beyond at The Marketplace at Centerra will open on  Tuesday, August 15, 2006.  The opening adds another shopping choice to the exciting list of retailers at The Marketplace since McWhinney began its 240,000 square foot Phase II expansion of the power center in 2005. Bed Bath & Beyond, 1605 Fall River Drive, is located just west of I-25 on U.S. Highway 34, next to JoAnn’s.

April 10, 2006  Old Chicago Opens in Centerra Market Place.

July 25, 2006 McWhinney Enterprises is pleased to announce the opening of the Good Times/Taco John’s restaurant at The Marketplace at Centerra on Friday, July 28, 2006.  The opening adds another restaurant to the long list of new retailers at The Marketplace since McWhinney began its 240,000 square foot Phase II expansion of the power center in 2005.

July 1, 2006 Quiznos Subs will add more flavor to The Marketplace at Centerra when it opens this Friday, June 30.  The upscale sub shop joins a long list of retailers to open as part of McWhinney Enterprises’ 240,000 square foot Phase II expansion of The Marketplace at Centerra that began in 2005.   

June 8, 2006  McWhinney Enterprises announces the grand opening of  the newest retailer to open as part of the company’s 240,000 square foot Phase II expansion of The Marketplace at Centerra. Old Navy will open for business beginning Thursday, June 8, with the store’s official grand opening celebration planned for Saturday, June 10.

March 9, 2006  McWhinney Enterprises proudly announces the grand opening of Ross Dress for Less, the first retail store to open as part of its 240,000 square foot Phase II expansion of The Marketplace at Centerra.  The retailer officially opens its doors to the community on Friday, March 10, 2006 at 9:30 a.m.

January 16, 2006 - McWhinney Enterprises is announcing several new tenants that will open as part of Phase II of The Marketplace at Centerra, including Old Navy, Marshalls, Lane Bryant, Ross and Panera Bread. The new retailers are part of a 240,000 square foot expansion of The Marketplace that began in 2005.

Phase II tenants will open throughout the spring and summer 2006, making The Marketplace at Centerra the largest contiguous power center in Northern Colorado. The shopping center is located in Loveland one-half mile west of Interstate 25 on the north side of Highway 34.

October 18, 2005 The second phase of the Market Place is finishing up very well. It will not be long until McWhinney Enterprises announces more new tenants to join Pier One, Sportsmen's and Target as the major Market Place retailers.

April 22, 2005
McWhinney Enterprises today announced the start of construction on the second phase of the Marketplace at Centerra. The Marketplace is located on the north side of Highway 34 and is west of the outlet mall. This area already includes Target, Sportsman's Warehouse, PetsMart, Pier 1 and 8 restaurants.

The second phase will be an additional 240,000 square ft of retail space to the area. This second phase will be just west of the first phase McWhinney further said that 80% of the 240,000 square feet has commitments from retailers but did not announce any names as of yet. This phase is scheduled to open in early 2006.
